Tina Thompson - Writer / Director / PRODUCER
Playing the Field Productions believes comedy, satire and drama are powerful tools for social commentary.
Tina is a former Nickelodeon Writing Program and National Hispanic Media Coalition Writing Program Writer. She also wrote for a weekly sketch show at Second City and has written, directed and/or produced many produced projects. Tina has also worked in production, chiefly as a Script Supervisor or 1st AD.
Her content is rooted in a tri-racial perspective (Euro/African/Latina) that challenges the status quo, using issue-based humor to explore the complexities of identity and inclusion. With some quirks and twists along the way. Because, why can't progress be fun?
